Another New UWS Development To Begin Demoliition

Some more exciting news for the Upper West Side. The Naftali Group filed plans this week with the Department of Buildings to begin demolition of 206-210 West 77th Street, formerly a Hertz garage, in the rapid growing neighborhood. The Naftali Group paid $55.5MM for the site in June of this year.  206-210 West 77th Street will be Naftali Groups’ second new development in the Upper West Side. Naftali Groups’ first development at 176-182 West 85th Street, where they built 11 loft-like luxury condo units, recently hit the condo sales market. Here’s a link to what’s available for purchase right now at their first Upper West Side development;

206-210 West 77th Street will see a new 18 story Luxury Condo Building containing about 30 Large Three and Four Bedroom Residential Units, situated on the South side of West 77th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue.  The new development is said to boast about 100,000 square feet.

206-210 West 77th Streets’ completion date is not yet known. The project still has to overcome some tedious and time consuming hurdles and as usual, there will be some opposition to the change in the area. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
